SOUTH FORK — JOHNSON – Margaret, 92, South Fork, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, passed away Feb. 14, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born Aug. 22, 1920, in South Fork, daughter of Michael and Beatrice (Winder) Coyne. William A. Johnson, her devoted husband, preceded her in death May 16, 2009, after 68 years of marriage; also parents; daughter, Marjorie Plummer; sister, Mary Louise Kensinger; brothers, Michael and Robert Coyne; and son-in-law, James Marshall. She was the beloved mother of Darlene Marshall, Johnstown; William “Marty,” married to Marie Afton, South Fork; Linda, wife of Tom Kovach, Windber; Patti, wife of John Papcun, Sidman; and Tom, married to Colleen Kauffman, South Fork; grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson, South Fork; Crystal (Johnson), and husband, Jason Mock, Windber; Keith, and wife, Sara  (Hoffman) Papcun, Portage; Eric, and wife, Kristi (Rolla) Papcun, Chambersburg; Jeff, and wife, Joni (Myers) Papcun, Westmont; Scott, and wife, Anouk (Ligtenberg) Sivi, California; Bryant Sivi, and fiancee, Renee Chavez, California; Jon, and wife, Ashley (Chulick) Plummer, South Fork; Julie Briggs, South Fork; and Jill (Plummer), and husband, Bob Alt, Johnstown; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Dylan, Leah, Ashley and Marina Plummer; Alexis Briggs; Nichele Plummer; Alec and Arron Alt; Annika and Lucas Sivi; Kiley, Caitlyn, Julia, Joshua, Hannah, Jozie and Jaelyn Papcun; Shane Mosholder; and Zoe Snowball-Johnson; great-great-grandsons, Brent Poborsky and Bentley Plummer; brother, Martin Coyne, married to Mary (Frenock), Maryland; sister-in-law, Marietta Johnson, Mount Joy; and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a homemaker and later worked as a sales clerk for Penn Traffic and Hess’s Department stores. She also volunteered and worked for the Census Bureau. Margaret loved to dance, enjoyed playing pinochle, working cross word puzzles, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers and just sitting on her porch swing enjoying family time. Member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael; Forest Hills Senior Citizens; and PRR South Fork Credit Union. Our mother enjoyed life and brought special meaning to the day-to-day lives that she touched because she knew a simple kindness shared could mean so much. She gave from her heart. We will never forget her humor, her wit and her stories of the good old times. God blessed us with a wonderful mother who devoted her life to her family and will be forever loved and fondly remembered for being a great person. A special thanks to Judy Sheedy and Windber Hospice along with all her special care givers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday.
