RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — HANCHARIK – Rose A., 75, Richland Township, died Dec. 5, 2013, at LaurelWood Care Center. Born July 15, 1938, in Windber, daughter of Benjamin and Julia (Edeline) Domonkos. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Benjamin “Pete”; and sisters, Jean Vasilinda and Margaret Gates. Survived by daughter, Mary Ann (Charles Moore), East Taylor Township; godson and special nephew, Robert Vasilinda; and special niece, Amy Jo Gates. Also survived by granddaughters, Juliann and Katie Moore; special great-nephews, Austin Vasilinda and Christopher Norman; and  special great-niece, Destiny Norman. Sister of Andrew (Margaret Shaffer), Pleasantville. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Benedict Church. By request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Choices on Jari Drive, niece, Sharon Maxwell, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o Mary Ann Moore, 1357 Briggs Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15909. Arrangements are by Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh.
