MIMS, FLA. — ADOMINK – Mrs. Anna, 93, Central City, passed away May 3, 2012, in Mims, Fla., where she had resided for the last six years. She was the daughter of the late Ustina and Martin Kolinchak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael (Slim) Adomnik. She is survived by her son, Richard Adomnik, Atlanta, Ga., and daughter, Judith Lauer, Mims, Florida. She also is survived by a sister, Helen Maljevac; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She worked for a short time in New York City, but lived the majority of her life in Central City. She was a lifelong and active member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, where she was known for her perogi and apple pies. She worked at Andy Kudasik’s Meat Market and also was employed by Bestform Bra Factory in Windber. Anna will be remembered for her beautiful afghans. Every member of her family owned one or two and boasted of their favorite. She was an immaculate housekeeper and delighted in her small garden and pots of flowers. And to all who knew her as Nan, she will be greatly missed. The family will welcome friends at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City, from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Liturgy will be sung at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church. Parastas will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
