JENNER TOWNSHIP — KING – Agnes Marie (Custer), 80, Rose Road, Jenner Township, died unexpectedly July 13, 2013, at home. Born Dec. 13, 1932, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, daughter of George W. and Florence M. (Blough) Custer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Carl L., Oct. 5, 1999; son, Gerald Lee King; brothers, George W., Lee W. and Howard E.; and sister, Catherine Corbett. Survived by children, Lester Dean, married to Arna Johnson, Powell, Ohio; Patricia Ann Bear-Shuhayda, Stoystown; Veronica Leah, married to Fred Metz, Martinsburg; Linda Sue Brooks, Plano, Texas; and Carl A., married to Linda Tessari, Alum Bank; daughter-in-law, Karen (Howard) King, New Florence; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Sister of Esther V., married to Ernest E. Burkhart, Ocala, Fla.; Betty I., married to Arthur G. Horner, Levittown; and Robert E., Confluence. Also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Faithful member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle. Loved gardening, cooking for her family and going to church. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Gary W.
