Patrick J. Kilmartin

WESTMONT — KILMARTIN – Patrick J., 62, Westmont, passed away June 30, 2014, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 20, 1951, in Pittsburgh, son of Mary (Joyce) and Stephen Kilmartin. Preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Kathleen. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Jude (Franciscus); sons, Michael and Sean; daughter, Emily; and sisters, Mary Ellen Kilmartin, Kathy Blaney and Barb Samber. A well-respected member of the business community, Patrick was passionate about his work. After graduating from Michigan State University with a MBA in 1976, Patrick returned to western Pennsylvania for the duration of his career. He worked at the corporate offices of the Penn Traffic Co. in Johnstown and DuBois, where he held the title of vice president of finance. He returned to the Johnstown area in 1995 to work for DRS Laurel Technologies as the director of finance. For the past seven years, he held the title of chief financial officer at JWF Industries in Johnstown. Outside of work, Patrick enjoyed sports, books and Irish music. He was a loving husband and father who will be sadly missed. Friends and family received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, Pa. 15905. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Geistown. Condolences may be sent through
