RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — BRUMBAUGH – Dolores M. “Bubba,” 82, Richland Township, formerly of Central City, died July 1, 2014, at Windber Hospice. Born Sept. 28, 1931, in Gray, daughter of the late Park O. and Myrtle G. (Hoover) Bell. Also preceded in death by husband, Charles E. “Pete” Brumbaugh; brother, Earl; and sister, Audrey Bell. Sister of Billy Bell, Carlisle; Phyllis “Jean” Seitz, Delmont; and Diana Bell, Sidman. Dolores was a very caring person who sought to put others first. She was a devoted Christian. She loved to crochet, do needlepoint and sewing. Along with her husband, Pete, she owned and operated the Charles E. Brumbaugh Funeral Home in Central City for more than 60 years. Longtime member of Graef’s Lutheran Church, Cairnbrook. More recently, she attended Dunmyer Lutheran Church, Elton. At her request, there will be no viewing or visitation but a graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Richland Cemetery, Pastor Nila Cogan, officiating.
