BOLIVAR — MARSH – Robert L., 74, Bolivar, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Hillsdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hillsdale, Pa. Born Aug. 13, 1939, in Torrance, son of the late Duward and Vivian Long Marsh. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the former Florence Mining Co. Bob served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of UMWA Local 1257. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Rebecca Dragan; and brother, Donald Marsh. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Janet R. Bernabo Marsh; children, Gena M. (William) Bertres, Robinson; Valli R. (Chris) Dragan, Latrobe; Nicole L. (Jeff) Mundorf, Robinson; and Robert A. (Paula) Marsh, Latrobe; grandchildren, Brittney and Matthew Dragan, Cameron and Caden Marsh, and Connor and Jackson Mundorf; sisters, Virgil Caldren, Sinking Springs; and Betty Rothermel, Robesonia; and brothers, John Marsh, Blairsville; Kyle (Masako) Marsh, Sacramento, Calif.; James Marsh, Bolivar; Carl (Linda) Marsh, West Bolivar; and Timothy (Sandy) March, Lemasters, Pa. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier. A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bolivar First Church of Christ, Evangelist Chris H. Hopper officiating. Interment will follow at Bolivar Westview Cemetery.
