GREENSBURG — LEEPER – Leona Kathryn, 90, formerly of South Greensburg, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Nature Park Commons, Greensburg, where she had lived since 2009. Born Sept. 1, 1923, in Windber, daughter of the late Calvin and Clara Grace Lambert Younker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald “Babe” Leeper; and brother, George Younker. She was a graduate of Windber High School and a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greensburg. Leona and Babe enjoyed traveling throughout the United States on organized motor coach tours. She was an avid quilter, seamstress and crocheter. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Barnhart Funeral Home, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at which time a service will be held in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
