Arthur A. Vidrich

SIDMAN — VIDRICH – Dr. Arthur A., 70, Sidman, entered into new life Jan. 19, 2014, at home. Born May 5, 1944, in Lloydell, son of Anthony and Mary (Svigelj) Vidrich. Preceded in death by his parents and stepbrother, Tony Zolor. Survived by numerous cousins.  He held a bachelor of music degree from Duquesne University. He became the first blind person to earn a doctor of music degree from the University of Michigan. As an organist, he played numerous recitals throughout the United States, Canada, England and Slovenia. As a singer, he toured Europe and performed with the Detroit Symphony Chorale. Friends received from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale, the Rev. Alice Tondora, officiating. Inurnment, Dunlo United Methodist Cemetery.
