Margaret R. (Shedlosky) Edwartoski

FALLS CHURCH, VA. — EDWARTOSKI – Margaret R. (Shedlosky), died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. She was a native of Windber, and a resident of Falls Church, Va. Beloved wife of Bernard J. Edwartoski; mother of Marie A. Edwartoski (husband, Bill Mitchell) and James C. Edwartoski; and grandmother of Stephanie E. Eftimiades. Preceded in death by parents, Charles J. and Margaret A. Shedlosky (Dollar), and brothers, Charles, Lawrence, Albert and Paul. Survived by sisters, Theresa Pollock and Rosemarie Heinrich, and many nieces and nephews. Worked for the Central Intelligence Agency in the late 1950s, early 1960s; later worked in the law offices of Holst and Hartshorn of Falls Church. Friends may call at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, Va., from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Ave., Falls Church, Va., followed by interment at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart or American Diabetes Associations.
