Clarann Hillenbrand

JOHNSTOWN — HILLENBRAND – Clarann, 86, Johnstown, died Feb. 14, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 17, 1928, in South Fork, daughter of the late William T. and Anna (Garland) Makins. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas J. Hillenbrand; brother, Dale W. Makins; and sister-in-law, Helen Makins. Survived by nephew, James Makins, New York City. A registered nurse, Clarann was a 1948 graduate of Windber Hospital School of Nursing. She received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State Teachers College of Pennsylvania (IUP), and worked at Lee Hospital before becoming a school nurse for the Forest Hills School District. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Inurnment, Richland Mausoleum.
