JOHNSTOWN — FILORIMO – Samuel K., 52, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord Feb. 25, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 5, 1961, in Johnstown, son of Joseph Filorimo and Delores (Hildebrand) Rhodes. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph W. Survived by his loving siblings, Paulette I. Filorimo; and Debra K., wife of Joseph D. Keirn, all of Johnstown; and Carl S., Landover, Md.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Sam was a graduate of the former Intermediate Unit 8 “IU8” School in Vinco. Member of Moxham Lutheran Church. Sam was an active member of Oakland Volunteer Fire Company, where he served with the special fire police. He enjoyed watching the Steelers, working around the yard and woodworking. Sam was a lovable guy who touched many lives. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Monday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, the Rev. Dr. Robert Wagner, officiating.
