Wilbur H. Watson

JOHNSTOWN — WATSON– Wilbur H., 90, West End, died Feb. 27, 2014, at Conemaugh Hospital.  Born Dec. 2, 1923, in Johnstown, son of Harry C. and Linda (Withers) Watson.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Margaret (Cervik) Watson; sister, Della Kovachick; and brothers, Melvin Watson, Roy Watson and Robert J. Watson, who died in World War II.  Survived by loving children, Daniel, married to the former Nancy Blansett; Linda, married to Ronald Ream; and Patricia, married to Glenn Miller, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Stephen, married to Shirl, and Kimberly, married to Troy Cook; stepgrandchildren, Kris and Melissa Ream; great-granddaughter, Kendalyn; and step-great-granddaughter, Amy Jo.  Brother of Jane Gray of Brunswick, Ohio.  U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Retired engineer for the Conemaugh & Blacklick Railroad.  Wilbur was an avid hockey fan and supported many local teams, including the Johnstown Jets and Johnstown Chiefs.  At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or visitation.
