Bailey; great-granddaughter, Rayanna Bailey; grandson, Philip Wentz; brothers, Richard and Lester; and brothers-in-law, Ray Rice and Neil Shaffer. She is survived by her loving children, Dennis J., married to former Debra Wilson; Wayne R., married to former Dee Dee Fresh, both of Gramlingtown; and Patricia A., wife of Daniel Meyers Jr., Beaver; daughter-in-law, Carol, wife of Robert Felex, Summerhill; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Rice, Bedford, and Janet Shaffer, Glenn Rock; brother, Charles, married to Helen, Sidman; sisters-in-law, Freda  Eppley, Portage, and Helen Eppley, Sidman; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, where she enjoyed working with the junior choir. She loved spending time with her family and was always active with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dorothy loved the outdoors, regardless if it was camping, fishing, hunting, taking the kids to the creek to catch crabs or just sitting on the porch enjoying the birds and sunshine. She enjoyed working on crafts with her late husband, and especially loved singing and yodeling. Mom/grandma was always nurturing to any child or person who needed a place to stay or to a stray animal that needed help. She will be sadly missed but will be always remembered as a kind and loving person. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and to those who touched her life through the years. Friends received from 2:30  to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until time service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, the Rev. Tom Moore, officiating. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be directed to Arbutus Park Manor Activities Department in memory of Dorothy.
