WESTWOOD — BEARJAR – Robert P. “Bob,” 59, a lifelong resident of Westwood, passed away suddenly Oct. 3, 2013, at his home. Born Dec. 22, 1953, in Johnstown, son of Peter and Elizabeth (Dudash) Bearjar. Preceded in death by his father; wife, Lori (Kaufman), who died in 2003; and infant brother, Edward. Survived by his mother, Betty; son, Peter; brother, Vincent (Lois) Bearjar; fiancee, Jennifer Wagner, and her daughter, Alexandria Wagner; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Bob was the owner and operator of El Rancho Restaurant for many years and was very grateful for the many friendships he created over the years. Since the restaurant’s closing, he has been employed at Value King Supermarket and recently at Trophy’s Bar and Grill. In the past, Bob was a proud member of Westwood Volunteer Fire Department. He had many happy memories from time spent there. Bob loved animals and enjoyed his Norwegian Elkhound dogs over the years. More recently, he was introduced to cats, which he also learned to love and appreciate. Bob was a caring and generous man who was always willing to help those in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, West End, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Therese Catholic Church, the Rev. Bernard Karmonocky, celebrant. Mass will be followed by committal at Grandview Mausoleum.
