Lois Margaret Draksler

ARMAGH — DRAKSLER – Lois Margaret, 81, Armagh, passed away June 25, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 14, 1932, in Indianapolis, Ind., daughter of the late Rev. G.S. and Mattie Kahl Sutton. Also preceded in death by infant son, Troy Jacob; sisters, Martha St. John and Mildred Woolery; and brother, Jack Sutton. Survived by husband of 51 years, George; sister, Mary Lee Wesner, Indianapolis; daughters, Theresa Grove, and husband, John, Homer City; Christine Abramo, and husband, Peter, Wooster, Ohio; Deborah Black, Homer City; and Julie Draksler, Reno, Nev.; son, Pete, and wife, Toni, Seward; grandchildren, Isaac Grove; Torrie, Kaylie, Annie and Jacob Abramo; Brett, Brad and Allyssa Black; and Laken and Jaden Draksler. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, and she had attended several local churches throughout her life in keeping with her Christian faith. She was formerly employed as a claims payor for New York Life Insurance Co. and as a medical secretary for Dr. Heller, who made the first heart transplant in the United States. By request of the family, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held  at 11 a.m. Aug. 3, at Strongstown United Methodist Church, Pastor John Hickman, officiating.
