JOHNSTOWN — MONTGOMERY – Jurettia, 82, Johnstown, died Dec. 19, 2013, at Cambria Care Center. Born Dec. 14, 1931, in Midway, Ala., daughter of the late Emmanuel and Carrie (Moore) Arnold. Also preceded in death by first husband, Charlie C. Boykin; second husband, Walter Montgomery; brothers and sisters; and a great-grandchild. Survived by son, Theotis (Brenda Yancey) Boykin, Johnstown; and stepdaughter, Pam (Earl) Nash, Johnstown; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Mattie Norton, New York, N.Y.; and Irene James, Alabama. Sister-in-law of Ruth Hollifield, Doris Haselrig and Mattie Charles. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retired from the Pennsylvania State School at Ebensburg. Member of Mount Sinai Institutional Baptist Church, Conemaugh, where she served as deaconess, adult choir member, Missionary Society and Kitchen Ministry. Friends received from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Institutional Baptist Church, Conemaugh, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Pastor Ronald Morris and Pastor Julius Porcher, officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Family suggests donations to Mount Sinai Institutional Baptist Church Building Fund, 351 Second St., Conemaugh, Pa. 15909, in memory of Jurettia.
