WINDBER — WEAVER – Ronald E. “Bruz,” 74, Windber, died Dec. 27, 2013, at the Church of the Brethren Home. Born May 17, 1939, in Windber, son of the late Kenneth and Alpha F. (Shaffer) Weaver. Brother of Shirley Eash, and Janet, wife of Roy Moore, both of Windber; Carolyn, wife of Clarence Anderson, Central City; and Gary, married to Joan Anderson, Cairnbrook. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was a resident of the Brethren Home for many years. He was a kind, fun-loving, jovial fellow. He liked to travel in Lanny’s RV when he was able. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Brethren Home for their loving care of Ronnie. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Berkey Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Earl Crissman, officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Church of the Brethren Home in Ronnie’s memory. Arrangements by Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber.  (
