SUMMERHILL — DIAMOND – Walter S. “Wally,” 79, formerly of Summerhill, died Feb. 20, 2013, at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born Jan. 20, 1934, in Summerhill, son of Charles Wilbur and Eva Jane (Harris) Diamond. Preceded in death by parents; former wife, Nancy (Kehn); brother, Joseph; and sisters, Jeaneen Remick and Ann Louise Diamond. Survived by son, Walter, Ebensburg; stepdaughters, Vicki Krinjeck, Johnstown; and Judy Diamond, Johnstown; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Fredrick, married to Esther Weaders, Wilmore; sister, Marjorie Malloy, Summerhill; and his many friends at Cambria Care Center, where he spent the past nine years of his life. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, by Father Leon Hont, OSB.
