SEWARD — ROLLING – Clement J., 94, Seward, passed away May 14, 2013. Born July 3, 1918, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Fred Sr. and Mary “Nellie” (Otto) Rolling; brothers, Harold, Fred, Charles, Donald and Walter; and sisters, Eleanor Dahlstrom, Mary Ritenour and Verna Kendig. Survived by loving wife of 68 years, the former Rita Denk. Also survived by loving children, Dan, and companion, Rita; Jean Ann, and husband, Bob; David, and wife, Cathy; and Karen, and husband, Ernie; grandchildren, Stephanie, Dana and Dan; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Jay and Ethan; also brother, Francis. Also survived by numerous stepgrandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Clem was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, and Holy Name Society. Army Air Force veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater of Operation. He was the oldest surviving World War II veteran in Seward. Lifetime member of Thomas Lewis Post 7022 VFW. Retired inspector with more than 30 years of service at Bethlehem Steel Corp. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, the Rev. Robert Washko, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
