Anna Jean Calafiore

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — CALAFIORE – Anna Jean, 82, Richland Township, died July 21, 2011, at home. Born Sept. 3, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of Edward B. and Agnes (Nicol) Menser. Preceded in death by parents; an infant sister; sisters, Bertha Malinak and Virginia Teplica; and brothers, Edward Menser Jr. and John Menser. Survived by beloved husband, Michael Calafiore; children, Sally, wife of Frank Catanese, Indiana, Pa.; Nancy Calafiore, Johnstown; Michele, wife of Herbert Eichenlaub, Erie; JoAnn Doughty, Hartsville, S.C.; and Michael Jr., married to the former Adele Fraley, Butler; and grandchildren, Frank, Jennifer and Michael Catanese; Justin and Ryan Eichenlaub; David, Sean and Patrick Doughty; and Molly Calafiore. She was the last member of her immediate family. Anna Jean was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Moxham. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Ohio Street and Highland Avenue, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Donna L. Hess, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Second Presbyterian Church in Anna Jean’s memory.
