Margaret A. Gulash

WINDBER — GULASH –  Margaret A., “Peggy,” 76, Windber, died peacefully Feb. 17, 2014, at Windber Hospice. Born June 23, 1937, in Windber, daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Yoder) Hill. Also preceded in death by husband, George D. Survived by children, Father George M., Windber; Patricia A. Banks, Portage, and her fiance Ray Lee, Portage; and David J., Windber. Also survived by grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Gulash; and former daughter-in-law, Kristi, wife of Chris Titus, Windber, and their son, Ian Titus. Sister of William E. Hill, married to the former Mary Jane Greathouse, Windber. Peggy was a former employee of Windber Hospital and later former Anderson’s News, Windber, for 25 years, where she was a well-known employee. She loved to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. She also loved to crochet. Member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, where concelebrated funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Father George Gulash, Peggy’s son, principal celebrant. Committal, church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Windber Hospice in Peggy’s memory.
