(McFarland) Maniscalco Allison, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006. Survived by daughter, Nellie J. Timko, Bedford; grandson, Joseph Timko, and wife, Lori (Wiederhut) Timko, Harrisburg; granddaughter, Jessica Timko, Bedford; sisters-in-law, Ruth Allison, Indiana; and Nellie Allison, Johnstown; and many loving nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Allison was a member of Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church. In his early years, he worked with his family at their farm in Geistown, and then served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a surgical technician with the 86th Infantry Division, having received the Philippine Independence Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. After returning home from his service to his country, Kenny was employed at Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown as a crane operator until retiring. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, until the hour of service. Burial, Bedford County Memorial Park.
