CENTRAL CITY — RIZAK – Maria “Mary,” 87, formerly of Central City, died Jan. 9, 2013, at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin. Born May 21, 1925, in Laufenbach, Austria, and emigrated to the United States in 1948. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul; and a brother. Survived by sons, Walter, and wife, Linda; and Paul, and wife, Georgia; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Herta; and a brother, both in Austria. She enjoyed her gardening, flowers and fishing. Lifetime member of St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, where funeral service will be sung at 11 a.m. Saturday, Father Elijah Bremer. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church. Committal, Mount Zion Cemetery, Fairhope. Arrangements in charge of Mulcahy Funeral Home, Central City.
