Nora L. Mock

SALIX — MOCK – Nora L., 83, Salix, passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born May 1, 1929, in Salix, daughter of Denzel and Lillian (Miller) Kring. Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lydia Bell Smith. Survived by loving husband of 64 years, Richard H. Mock, Salix; son, Richard D., married to the former Linda Bonfanti, Hilton Head, S.C.; brother, Ronald (Diane) Mock, Johnstown; grandchildren, Eric Mock, Hilton Head, S.C.; and Julie, wife of Todd Blake, Glouster, Va.; great-granddaughters, Katherine and Claire Blake, both of Glouster, Va.; sister, Sandra, wife of Denver Berkebile, Adams Township; stepbrother, Clarence (Connie) Mock, Johnstown; and stepsisters, Verna (Joseph) Siefert, Bedford; and Anna Mae Allen, Bedford; also several nieces and nephews. Nora was a 1947 graduate of Johnstown High School. She retired after 43 years of service from Bestform, where she was employed as a supervisor. She was a member of Salix Bethel United Methodist Church. Nora enjoyed crocheting, bingo and fishing with her husband. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, the Rev Don Poole, officiating.
