BOLIVAR — YEAGER – Alice G. “Ash” Yeager, 87, Bolivar, died Friday evening, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana. She was born Jan. 8, 1926, in Fairfield Township, daughter of the late Paul and Elsie Seigh Yeager. Prior to her retirement, she and her sister, Mildred “Mootz” owned and operated M&A Floral Shop in Bolivar for many years. Ash was a faithful member of the Bolivar First Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Kathryn Henderson, Ruth Henderson, Mildred “Mootz” Yeager and Virginia Moore; two brothers, Davis and Billy Yeager; and nephew, Ralph Henderson. She is survived by her son, Cory L. (Cindy) Yeager, Bolivar; granddaughter, Courtney (Phillip) Penrose; and two great- grandchildren, Brennan and Maisie Penrose. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the J. Paul McCracken Funeral Chapel Inc., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bolivar First Church of Christ, with evangelist Chris H. Hopper officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Palmer Cemetery.
