ADAMS TOWNSHIP — MOCK – Verna, 95, Adams Township, died Nov. 7, 2012, at home. Born May 10, 1917, in Krayn, daughter of Arthur and Eliza (Hunter) Probert. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George “Murph”; brothers, James, Clarence and Homer; and sisters, Helen Meckley, Florence Probert and Bertha Gearhart. Survived by children, Kenneth, at home; and Ruthann (Tom Yochimowitz), Mohnton, Pa.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Sister of Pearl Strickler, Okawville, Ill.; and Kathleen Burkett, Baltimore, Md. Also survived by nephew, Harry Probert. Member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix. Friends received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethel United Methodist Church, Salix, the Rev. Don Poole. Interment, Dunmyer Cemetery.
