HOLLIDAYSBURG — ROGERS – Rita B., 84, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Patton, passed away Nov. 8, 2012, at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.  She was born March 28, 1928, in St. Lawrence, Pa., daughter of Anthony  and Rose (Gearhart) Neibauer. She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Santo Rogers; son, Ronald Rogers; brothers, Emanuel, Eligius, Germaine, Calestus and Gerald; and infant brothers, Anthony and George. Rita is survived by daughter-in-law, Brenda Rogers Taylor, Eugene, Ore.; grandchildren, Jason and Brittany; three great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Kent, Altoona; brother, William Neibauer, Indiana, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired as a nurses’ aide from the Ebensburg State School after 20 years of service and also worked at the former Van Husen Shirt Factory in Patton. Rita was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Altar-Rosary Society and Patton Senior Citizens. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012,  at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.  Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, by Benedictine Fathers.  Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton.  (www.stevensfh.com)
