JOHNSTOWN — KUBANDA – Wilma K. “Pat,” 77, Woodvale, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family Nov. 11, 2011, at her home. Born Nov. 6, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter of Daniel J. and Ethel C. (Blawn) Schrum. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Kathleen, in infancy; sons-in-law, David C. Schutte and Dennis Monroe; and brother, Jean Schrum. A loving wife, mother and grandmother whose family was everything to her. Survived by husband of 55 years, William Kubanda, Woodvale; children, Phyllis “Jeanie” Glacken, Rocky River, Ohio; Stephen “Kuby,” married to the former Sharon Grandas, Front Royal, Va.; Patricia “Trisha” Schutte, Johnstown; Mary Beth, married to Daniel Mikesic, Johnstown; Catherine “Kitty,” married to Jimmy Fetcko, North Ridgeville, Ohio; and Danette Kubanda, married to Pejman Bakhtiar, Chattanooga, Tenn. Also survived by grandchildren, William Glacken, and wife, Nikki; Jessica Lee Glacken; Cassandra, Olivia, Stephen, Gabriella and Anastasia Kubanda; Maxwell and Kathleen Schutte; Joshua and Emily Mikesic; and Stephan and Spencer Fetcko; and great-grandchildren, Gianna and Logan Glacken. Sister of Hilary Schrum, Noreen Molchan and Don Joseph Schrum, all of Johnstown. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pat loved to crochet many beautiful items for her family and friends. She was an avid reader and loved her dogs. A parishioner of the former SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Very Rev. James F. Crookston. Committal, SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Francis G.
