Gloria R. Kopera

JOHNSTOWN — KOPERA – Gloria R., 68, Johnstown, died Sept. 18, 2013, at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born March 8, 1945, in Hastings, daughter of Cletus and Helen (McMullen) Yeckley.  Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Paul Yeckley.  Survived by husband of 50 years, James J. Kopera, and these children, Michele Kopera, Washington, Pa., and James Kopera Jr., married to former Melanie Spacht. Also survived by grandchildren, Lauren and Dylan Kopera.  Sister of Michael, Bonnie, Alice, Jane and Dwaine.  Gloria was a survivor of two cancers and had been cancer free for two years. She put others before herself and spent her life being a caregiver for the elderly and terminally ill.  No viewing or receiving of friends. Private family inurnment.  The family wishes donations be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Gloria’s memory.  Arrangements by George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc. Davidsville.
