William James Faust

ROCK HILL, S.C. — FAUST – William James, 81, formerly of Hollsopple, died peacefully April 2, 2013, in Rock Hill, S.C., where he had resided since September 2013. Born July 24, 1931, in Johnstown, son of the late Earl and Anna Marie (Geiser) Faust. Also preceded in death by wife of 31 years, the former Helen L. Rayman, in 1988; brothers, Robert, Donald and Fredrick; and sister, Elizabeth Norcross. Survived by daughter, Kimberly Faust; son-in-law, Jerome McKibben; and grandson, Jerome McKibben III, all of Rock Hill, S.C.; brother, John, and wife, Mona; and sister, Kathleen Lynch Fabish, all of Johnstown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was a 1949 graduate of Johnstown High School. He was a Korean War Army veteran, having served with the military police, and then working at Equifax Inc. until his retirement in 1989. An avid gardener, Bill was well known for his prodigious vegetable and flower gardens. Member of St. Anne’s Church, Davidsville, where funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, the Rev. Michael Lewandowski, celebrant. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum, Johnstown, immediately thereafter.
