Mary Ann Denny

JOHNSTOWN — DENNY – Mary Ann, 77, Johnstown, passed away at Windber Hospice Nov. 22, 2013.  Born June 12, 1936, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Anthony B. and Mary C. (Maher) Crimarki.  Survived by loving husband of 48 years, Samuel Denny, Johnstown; children, Samuel A., and wife, Susan, Mount Airy, Md.; Michael F., and wife, Lynne, Collegeville; Amy M. Gillin, and husband, Michael; and Mary Ellen Denny, Johnstown; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Alex and Jack.  Also survived by brother, Anthony C. Crimarki, and wife, Julianne, Indiana, Pa.; nephew, Anthony T. Crimarki, Johnstown; and niece, Christine M. Crimarki, Altoona.  Retired employee for U.S. Bank Corp./Ameriserv. Mary Ann was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed watching the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins, and especially enjoyed the NCAA March Madness Tournament. A former member of St. Columba Catholic Church. A member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Woodvale, where she was an active member, helping at many church fundraisers and social events.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Matthew Mishurda. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windber Hospice or to St. Clare of Assisi Church in memory of Mary Ann Denny.  Condolences may be sent at
