James and Pamela Fraser

ANAHEIM HILLS, CALIF. — FRASER – James and Pamela, Anaheim Hills, Calif., bonded in love and in passing. The family and friends of James, who died June 22, 2013, and Pamela, who died May 8, 2013, celebrate their love, legacies and passions. Married in 1968, James “Jim” and Pamela “Pam” (formerly Leiford) are fondly regarded for their good hearts; complementing personalities and pursuits; and shared adoration of their children and grandchildren. Jim was born in 1943 in Elizabeth, Pa., to James and Regina Fraser. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and embarked on a successful career in business management and medical device sales where he was highly regarded for his efficiency practices and strategic insights. Jim’s ready ear and patient approach made him a go-to source for sound advice among family, friends and colleagues. A former ski instructor, Jim had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, spending many vacations at Big Bear Lake with his wife and children. In addition to skiing, Jim enjoyed golfing, fly fishing, horseback riding and classic country music. He is loved and known for his dry wit, caring heart and easy presence. Pam was born in 1945 in Johnstown to Robert and Mary Leiford. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and dedicated her early career to education, teaching high school English, poetry and literature. Pam, a strong Christian, embraced a curiosity and receptiveness to all cultures, lifestyles and religions. For more than 10 years, Pam was a yoga instructor where she blended Christian philosophies with the traditional Hindu practice. Pam’s exuberance and bright smile could charge a room. She enjoyed traveling the world with close friends, and shared her husband’s affinity for an active outdoor lifestyle. Pam showed her love of life in different ways, from singing along to the radio with her granddaughters, to goading others with her well-honed mischievous laugh. She is loved and known for her jubilance, faith and her carefree and loving spirit. Twelve years into their marriage, Pam and Jim moved to Anaheim Hills, Calif., where they raised their children and created a beautiful life together. Their marriage demonstrated a truly loving bond and life partnership. It is fitting that their memorial was held on what would have been their 45th wedding anniversary. Jim and Pam are survived by their children, Amanda Fraser Transki, and husband, Ashley Transki; Joshua Fraser, and wife, Erin (White) Fraser; and Ian Fraser; and their grandchildren, Kaya Fraser and Madison Transki. Jim also is survived by brother, Kevin Fraser. Pam also is survived by sister, Danielle Robben, and brothers, Robert Leiford and David Leiford. A private service was held in their memories on July 13. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in their honor to American Cancer Society at

Do you think that Jack Williams will get the 270 signatures from city residents needed in order to have a referendum placed on a municipal ballot to have the city's pressure test mandate repealed?
