ADAMS TOWNSHIP — DIBBLE – Bernadine C., 88, Adams Township, died May 13, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born July 1, 1924, in Central City, daughter of Earl and Clara (Dishart) Callahan. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Arnold Dibble; brothers, Richard and Donald; and sister, Geraldine Barto; also a sister in infancy. Survived by children, Judith (Bill Wilkinson), Snyder, Texas; Kathryn Kapinski, Langhorne; Denise (Charles Reinert), Cary, N.C.; Ronald Young (Stephanie Deatrick), Salix; David Dibble, Mooresville, N.C.; and Thad Dibble (Crystal Miller), Cornelius, N.C.; and grandchildren, Billy and Douglas Wilkinson; Walter and Kim Schultz; Jaime Hagadorn; Dana Schrenk; Denise, Justin and Rodney Young; Emily and Michael Dibble; and Mallory Dibble. Also survived by great-grandson, Preston Falz. Sister of Leo, North Olmsted, Ohio; and Frances McQuillan, Ligonier. She was a retired waitress from Rizzo’s Restaurant, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Friends received from 10 a.m. until the hour of memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., Father Clarence S. Bridges. Military rites will be conducted by Charles Menoher Post 155 Ritual Team, following the service. Private interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Windber Hospice.
