Matthew P. Adams

NEW HOLLAND, PA. — ADAMS – Matthew P., 20,  New Holland, Pa., died unexpectedly Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Ephrata Community Hospital.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Philip P. Jr. (formerly of Strongstown) and Rebecca (Williamson) Adams (formerly of Nanty Glo), now both  of New Holland. Matthew graduated in 2011 from Garden Spot High School.  He was currently working at CB Structures Inc. in New Holland.  He was a member of the New Holland Recreation Center. His interests included running and staying healthy, sports, cars, bikes and girls. “Be yourself, everybody else is already taken.” In addition to his parents, survived by sister, Angel Adams,  and brother, Tyler Adams, both at home; the family dog, Ginger; paternal grandmother, Judith (Barr) Adams of Nanty Glo; maternal grandparents, Donald and Donna (Thiec) Williamson of Nanty Glo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Philip P. Adams Sr. Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and  from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland, the Rev. Dr. Douglas C. Bozung officiating.  Interment, Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Matthew’s name to the New Holland Recreation Center Summer Youth Programs, 123 N.
