Nancy Jane (Hmel) Rech

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA. — RECH – Nancy Jane (Hmel), 70, Colonial Heights, Va., formerly of Johnstown, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, in Colonial Heights. Born May 9, 1942, in Altoona, daughter of the late William Joseph and Velma “Joyce” (Slick) Hmel. Survived by daughters, Beth, wife of Eugene Blalock; and Kathy Davis, both of Colonial Heights; and Sam Hendrix, Gloucester; and Mary Rech, and husband, James Springer, both of North Chesterfield, Va. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many loving friends. Nancy was a member of Woods United Methodist Church, Colonial Heights, and was a 1960 graduate of the former Ferndale-Dale High School. Arrangements by Colonial Chapel of the E.
