HOLLIDAYSBURG — MOXIN – Joseph F. Jr., 62, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at ARHS Altoona Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1950, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Joseph F. Sr. and Frances (Hetzer) Moxin. He married Bianca Mergen in October 2011. Survived by spouse, Bianca; daughter, Erin Stephens, and husband, David, Altoona; sister, Mary Cuddy, Moon Township; and nieces, Cristen and Cara. Preceded in death by sister, Kathleen, in 1998. A 1968 graduate of Moon High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was formerly a paramedic in Pittsburgh, then retired from Altoona Hospital after 20-plus years as chief perfusionist. Past master of Hiram Lodge 616 F&AM. He was an avid Pitt fan, and enjoyed fly fishing and spending time with his golden retriever, Molly. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, where a Masonic service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday and funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Chuck Monts, officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.  (
