JOHNSTOWN — CASCINO – Dominick C., 88, Johnstown, died July 8, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 20, 1925, in Johnstown, son of the late Vincent and Angeline (Arnone) Cascino. Preceded in death by wife, Nellie (Nicoletti) Cascino; sister, Antionette Liccioli; brothers, John and Ernie; and infant brother, Louis. Survived by son, Vincent Cascino, and wife, Joanne (Delic); grandchildren, Lauren Presser, and husband, Eric; Leann Sheridan, and husband, Matthew; and Jaclyn; great-granddaughter, Emma Sheridan; sister, Lena DeRose, and husband, Vincent; brothers, William Cascino, and wife, Gloria; and Frank Cascino, and wife, Connie; sisters-in-law, Mary Cascino and Carmela Cascino; special friend, Lee Hagerich; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Clement Church. He served 39 months in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a postal supervisor in 1987. He was an avid golfer with five holes in one at Berkley Hills Golf Course. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Clement Church, the Rev. William E. Rosenbaum, celebrant. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. Military rites will be accorded at the cemetery by members of Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team.
