Nancy L. Bifano

JOHNSTOWN — BIFANO – Nancy L., 70, Johnstown, passed away Feb. 5, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital. Born Oct. 15, 1943, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Slovik) Gabrovsek. Preceded in death by her husband, Anthony John Bifano, and granddaughter, Sydney Bifano. Survived by loving sons, Tony Bifano, Windber; Christopher Bifano, married to the former Cheryl Metalonis, Bridgeport, W.Va.; and David Bifano, Johnstown; grandchildren, Dominic, Lily, Tanner, Jack and Ben; and brother, Frank Gabrovsek, married to the former Barbara Blasko, Windber. Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She worked for and supported the United Cerebral Palsy Association. She was formerly employed as a medical secretary. Member of St. Anne Catholic Church.  Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Johnstown, where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, 533 Woodland Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15902, Father Bernard Karmanocky. Committal, St. John Gualbert Cemetery.
