HARRISBURG — KOSCIENSKI – Katherine, 92, Harrisburg, formerly of Dorothy Avenue, Johnstown, died April 18, 2013, in Harrisburg. Born June 4, 1920, in Clairton, Pa., daughter of Michael and Mary (Kaczur) Medvic. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Romy, who died in 1970; brothers, Michael, Stephen and John; and sisters, Betty Prokopovich, Helen Sroka, Dorothy Krett, Margaret Sroka-Gyure, Anne Rodak, Sophie and Mary Medvic. Survived by sister, Pauline Kohan; and sisters-in-law, Nancy (Timko) Medvic, Bedford, Texas; and Florence (Godish), Wickliffe, Ohio. Also survived by sons, Raymond, and wife, Patricia (Mesaros); and Donald, and wife, Carol (Mann), all of Harrisburg area; grandsons, Brian; and David, and wife, Melanie Koscienski; great-grandsons, Maverick, Wesley and Justin Koscienski; longtime friend and companion, Russell “Ducky” Moehler; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Retired employee of Troy Laundry with 33 years of  service. Lifelong member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, West End. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Therese Catholic Church, the Rev. Bernard Karmonocky, celebrant. Committal, Grandview Cemetery.
