JOHNSTOWN — BIMEAL – Phyllis E. 93, resident of Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown, died April 19, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 30, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of the late William N. and Marguerite (Weir) Robak. Preceded in death by husband, Robert J. Bimeal Sr.; and sisters, Marguerite Mennett, Victoria Owens and Patricia Barbe. Survived by children, Robert J. Bimeal Jr., married to Barbara (Joos), Johnstown; Andrea Aughinbaugh, married to F. William, Greensburg; Charlotte Korinchak, married to Harry, Coalport; and William Bimeal, married to Michelle (Candler) Rochester, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Franklin High School and retired clerk for Penn Traffic Co. Member of Sacred Heart Parish, Church of the Transfiguration, where she belonged to the Ladies Sodality. Also a member of Disabled American Veterans and East Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Company ladies auxiliary. She served with the Civil Air Patrol and as well as a judge of elections on the election board. Friends received from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road. Funeral service will be held at noon Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Father Anthony Francis Spilka, OFM, Conv., officiating.
