PORTAGE — TURGEON – Wilma, 70, Portage, passed away surrounded by her loving family Nov. 18, 2012, at Altoona Regional Hospital.  Born Sept. 13, 1942, in Altoona, daughter of William and Gertie (Keister) Risbon.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ernest Turgeon; daughter, Michelle Edwards; and sister, Mary Risbon.  Survived by children, Nannette Parkinson, and friend, Bernie Brown, Beaverdale; Deborah, wife of Thomas Semanchik, Portage; and John “Gary” Edwards, and wife, Christine (Paulson), Beaverdale; grandchildren, Brandi Penatzer (Scott), Bryan Parkinson (Kelli Cominsky), Kirstie Semanchik (Christopher  Barto),  Gary Edwards (Becky Yoder), Trista and Alexis Edwards and Mikael “Edwards” Nefcy; and great-granddaughter, Paige Penatzer.  Sister of Nancy, wife of Robert Goedeker, Rochester,  and William Risbon (Peggy), Mount Joy. Also survived by numerous stepchildren, stepgrandchildren and special friends, Lenny Miller and Michele and Colin.  Wilma was currently a member of the Beaverdale Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Forster Grandparent Program.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Portage.  Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Portage, Father Walter Moll, celebrant.  Committal, St. Joseph Cemetery, Beaverdale.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Wilma’s name to the family to be distributed to a charity of Wilma’s choice.
