JOHNSTOWN — SAPOLICH –  Anne Marie, 88, Johnstown, died April 26, 2014. Born Aug. 7, 1925, daughter of Michael and Marie (Dusik) Hudak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George, who died in 2006; daughters, Rebecca Deater and Deborah Worthen; brothers, Paul, Michael and John Hudak; and sisters, Mary Worthington and Margaret McConnell. Anne was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by her children, Richard, and wife, Denise (Goff); Linda Marie Nesmith, all of Johnstown; Cynthia “Gigi,” and husband, Norman Richmond, Fort Worth, Texas; and David, and wife, Colette (Stoykovich), Johnstown; sons-in-law, Kenneth Deater and Byron Worthen; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Member of Christ the Saviour Cathedral, where she was a former member of the church choir and the ACRY. Anne, and her husband, George, founded and operated the Phoenix Tavern until Anne’s health no longer allowed. At Anne’s request her funeral service will be private.
