DAVIDSVILLE — PAVLOSKY – Robert W., 81, Davidsville, died Jan. 10, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 25, 1931, son of Charles S. and Anna A. (Surganic) Pavlosky. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Stephen J. Pavlosky. Survived by wife of 57 years, the former Shirley A. Weaver; and sons, Jeffrey Robert, married to the former Carmen Hubbard, Somerset; Jerry William, married to the former Susan Mucciola, Davidsville; David Michael, and partner, Scott Mason, New York City; Douglas Alan, Blue Knob; and Matthew Stephen, Pittsburgh. Also survived by grandchildren, Kelsey, Casey, Jared, Jenna, Kristopher and Shawn, and wife, Kristen. Brother of Carl S., and wife, Betty; and Marie M., widow of Joseph Shander, all of Johnstown; Joseph J., and wife, Patti, Phoenix, Ariz.; Elizabeth, wife of Francis Dukery; and Edward, and wife, Anna M., all of Johnstown; and Annamae, wife of Tom Metbrick; Oakmont, Pa. Robert was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, where he was a member and officer of Knights of Columbus Council 11308, All Saints Assembly Council 954, 4th degree, CCHL and Pro Life. He was a 1949 graduate of Johnstown High School. Life member of AACA (Antique Auto Club of America). He was a former parts and service manager for GM Dealers in Johnstown and Pittsburgh. Robert was a Korean War veteran, having served from 1951 to 1954. He retired from Penelec Conemaugh Generating Station. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held in the evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Father Angelo Patti, officiating. Committal, Richland Cemetery.
