JOHNSTOWN — SKELLY – Robert Donald “Bob,” 80, a resident of the Atrium Manor, formerly of Kernville, died Jan. 30, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 27, 1932, in Johnstown, son of the late Charles G. and Rose (Kennedy) Skelly. Preceded in death by brother, John Paul Skelly. Survived by sister, Ruth Shaw, wife of Dr. John F. Shaw, Lighthouse Point, Fla.; two nephews; three nieces; eight grandnieces and nephews; and many beloved cousins and friends. Bob was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a painter by Snyder Painting Contractors and was a member of the Sons of Italy. Bob also was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, the Very Rev. James F. Crookston. Friends received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Atrium Manor, 216 Main St., Johnstown, Pa. 15901; Bishop McCort High School, 25 Osborne St., Johnstown, Pa.  15905; or a charity of one’s choice in memory of Bob.
