Brooks Mills Woolcock

LORAIN BOROUGH — WOOLCOCK – Brooks Mills, 64, Lorain Borough, died April 26, 2013, at home. Born Jan. 14, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of Mary Jane Woolcock. Preceded in death by mother. The last member of his family, he is survived by many close friends.  Brooks was a Vietnam Army veteran and was awarded two Purple Hearts for his service. Brooks was a member of VFW, Post 4200, Tire Hill; Moxham PNA 1327, where he served as a doorman for many years at their dances; Harmony Singing Society; and Sons of Italy. Memorial service will be held at noon Friday at Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Moxham, where military rites by VFW, Post 155, will be conducted. Private Inurnment. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Little Anthony’s. Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home.
