BORN - Mildred

BORN - Mildred, 93, of Hastings, died Oct. 30, 2005, at Miners Medical Center. Born Oct. 20, 1912, in Hastings, daughter of the late Walter and Esther (Lantzy) Cunningham. Preceded in death by husband, Gordon; infant daughter, Betty Jane; son, Leo; daughter, Ella Mae Letavish; infant sister, Ruth; and brother, Earl. Survived by children, Anna Marie (Steve) Linsky, Ohio; Avalon Bergheim, Virginia; Earl (Nancy), Girard, Pa.; Virginia (John) Hanchar, Ohio; and Mary Kay Born, Virginia; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews. Mildred passed away surrounded by her loving family. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Easly Funeral Home, Hastings. CORELLA - Frank, 88, of Country Manor, Jerome, formerly of Hollsopple, died Oct. 30, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus. Born Jan. 26, 1917, in Indiana County, son of Charles and Eudochia (Dudijka) Corella. Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Emma Milanese; infant brother; sisters, Stella Makula, Anna Kopchak and Helena Boblick; sister-in-law, Mafalda Fiazzo; and brothers-in-law, Angelo Fiazzo and Charles Fungaroli. Survived by son, Dennis Sr., and close friend, Dawna L. Berkebile, Hollsopple; and grandsons, Eric, married to the former Marcy Faher, and Dennis Jr., all of Davidsville. Brother of Mary Seganos, Country Manor, Jerome; Susan Walker, Hooversville; Helen Gagan and Christine Wachs, both of Cambria City; and sister-in-law, Yolanda Fungaroli, Bedford. Also survived by close friends, Duane and Fran Faher, Windber, and many nieces and nephews. Member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Davidsville. World War II Army veteran, where he was a member of the Combat Paratrooper, 82nd Airborne Division. He was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA. Also retired from Local Construction 910 Labor Union. Self-employed stonemason, who also worked for Luteri Brothers Masonry in Somerset. He helped run a local bar and restaurant in Hollsopple and was employed part time for Hollsopple Feed Mill. He was a member of Hollsopple VFW and a life member of Hollsopple Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking and spending time with Dennis Jr., Eric and Marcy and special friend of family and support person, Dawna. Family receiving friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Tuesday afternoon. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Davidsville. Committal, St. Mary Byzantine, Windber, with military graveside service, the Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski, OFM, Conv., officiating. EBERSOLE - Michael R. "Mike" Jr.

EBERSOLE - Michael R. "Mike" Jr., 36, Portage, died Oct. 30, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 30, 1969, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Goldia (Hetrick) Hodge and John Ebersole Sr. and Stella (Williams) Ebersole. Survived by mother, Ramona (Hodge) Ebersole, and fiance, Donald Slebodnick, Portage, and father, Michael R. Ebersole Sr., and wife, Janet, Dunlo. Brother of Brian Ebersole Sr., married to the former Tracie Miller, Maryland; and Steven Ebersole, married to the former Schelley Nemec, and Lisa Ebersole, both of Portage. He will be sadly missed by these nieces and nephews: Brian Ebersole Jr., Eric Ebersole, Brittany Michaels, Brian Michaels Jr., Brett Michaels, Alexis Chambers and Steven Ebersole. Also survived by several aunts and uncles. 1988 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech School. Former employee of Sears Automotive and Sedloff Publications. Mike's hobbies include watching NASCAR racing, building models, drawing and spending time with his dog, Rusty. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Mark A. FRIEDMAN - Margaret M., 91, Johnstown, died Oct. 28, 2005. A member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Bernard Karmanocky, OFM. GIBLOCK - Marion

GIBLOCK - Marion, 83, of Lilly, passed away Oct. 28, 2005, at home. Born July 15, 1922, in Lilly, he was the son of the late Andrew and Sophia (Kulasik) Giblock. Preceded in death by wife, Janet (Sendzik) Giblock; sisters, Josephine Waksmunski, Nancy Mardula, Viola Wuicik; and brothers, Jack Kozlick and Stanley Kozlick. Father of Joanne, wife of Robert Courtot, Lilly; Joseph, and wife, Nancy (Costantino) Giblock, Lilly; and John, and wife, Cindy (Johnson) Giblock, Lilly; also eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Brother of Lottie Kowalczyk, Coupon; Frank Giblock, Lilly; Edward Giblock, Ohio; and Agnes Giblock, Cresson; also numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was a World War II Army veteran and retired as a mine supervisor from Mine 32. He enjoyed farming, working on equipment and his grandchildren. HAND - George J. Jr., 83, Southmont, died Oct. 28, 2005, at Laurel Crest Manor. Born May 28, 1922, in Easton, Pa. Preceded in death by parents, George J. and Favienne (Bennett), and his son, Theodore. Survived by wife, Marie (Koch) Hand, and son, George J. III. Served in U.S. Army during World War II in Greenland and Paris. Retired superintendent of general services at Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown Plant. No visitation. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, corner or Jackson and Locust streets, the Rev. Michael Van Dyke. Arrangements in charge of William T. HUNT - Richard Allen, 51, Central City, formerly of Spotswood, N.J., died Oct. 29, 2005. Born April 24, 1954, in New Brunswick, N.J., the son of the late Albert and Bertha (Goddard) Hunt. Survived by wife of 30 years, the former Cynthia Nowak, and son, Jeffrey A., both of Central City. Brother of Albert (Ina), Edison, N.J.; Jerome (Eileen), East Brunswick, N.J.; Connie (James) Hall, Central City; and Brian, and fiancee, Marie, Monroe, N.J. Also survived by mother- and father-in-law, Joseph and Dorothy Nowak, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. LUCAS - Dean Jerome

LUCAS - Dean Jerome, 65, of Boswell, died Oct. 30, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center, Downtown Campus. Born Sept. 21, 1940, in Boswell, son of Rudy and Mary Ruthelene (Dietz) Lucas. Preceded in death by mother and wife, the former Patty Ann Sopich. Survived by father, Country Manor, Jerome, and these children: Cheri, married to Rodger Shaffer, and Rolande, widow of Rick Cebula. Also survived by grandchildren, Misty and Shane Shaffer and Brennan Cebula. Brother of David, and wife, Linda Lucas, Boswell. He was a retired foreman and examiner for a number of coal companies in the area. Family receiving friends Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the family cemetery at Boswell, the Rev. Gary Anderson officiating.

ZEMET - Charles B., age 84, of Richland Township, formerly of Belmont, died Oct. 28, 2005, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born May 29, 1921, in Barnesboro, son of Benjamin and Josephine Zemet. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Theodore and Edwin R.; and sister, Wanda, wife of Anthony Cavallo. Survived by loving wife, Jean (McNulty) Zemet. Adored by daughters, Elizabeth "Beth," married to James Bright, and Carolyn "Lynn" Miljenovich, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, C.J. Gehlman, Florida; Frank Cordek IV, California; Benjamin Gehlman, Johnstown; Suzanne Miljenovich, Reston, Va.; and Kaitlyn Miljenovich, Johnstown; and great-grandchildren, Dustin, Luke, Nicholas, Elaina and Cameron Gehlman. Also survived by a sister, Martha Zemet, Pittsburgh; sister-in-law, Marlene Zemet, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Formerly employed by Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Co., Baltimore, Md. Owner and operator of Zemet's Mobil Inc., Ohio Street, Johnstown. Past president of Pennsylvania Gasoline Association. Also served on the Greater Johnstown School Board. Member of Moxham Lutheran Church and previously served terms on the church council. Charles' love, time and devotion will always be cherished by his family and sadly missed.
