BALOGH - Richard, 52, of Mine 37, Richland Township, passed away unexpectedly April 1, 2006, at home. Arrangements by William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber. Complete obituary in Monday's paper.



BOLGER - John J.

BOLGER - John J., 82, Nicktown, died March 31, 2006, at HAIDA Manor, Hastings. Born April 6, 1923, in Marsteller, the son of Thomas and Philomena (Kline) Bolger. Preceded in death by parents and son, James J. Bolger. Survived by wife of 49 years, Ruth M. (Kirsch) Bolger; children, Rita, wife of David Johnson, Penfield, N.Y.; and Richard P. Bolger, East Rochester, N.Y.; grandson, Joseph Bolger; and daughter-in-law, Pam Bolger, Hamlin, N.Y. Brother of Leona (John) Lieb, Nicktown. Graduate of Spangler High School. Attended Penn State Branch Campus. World War II Army veteran and member of VFW Post 343, Barnesboro. Retired from Automotive Supply Co. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and Legion of Mary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, Father Job Foote, OSB, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery. Military honors by local veterans' organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Community Center, P.O. Box 37, Nicktown, Pa. 15762.

HARMOTTA - John C. "Moke," 50, of Nanty Glo, passed away March 31, 2006. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be held at 8 p.m. that evening. Brief service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy at Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo.



HOCKINS - Frederick T.

HOCKINS - Frederick T., 88, DeBeque, Colo., formerly of Farmingdale, N.J., and Tire Hill, died March 28, 2006, in Colorado. Born Nov. 7, 1917, in South Fork, son of John B. and Mary (Shannon) Hawkins. Preceded in death by parents, eight brothers, an infant sister and two great-grandchildren. Survived by wife of 64 years, the former Bertha Lape; and these children: James, married to the former Nancy Koutnick, New York; Thomas, and wife, Langga, Colorado; Gloria, wife of Gary Prakope, Colorado; and William, married to the former Carol Quilty, Delaware; 15 grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Retired from Waltrich Plastics in New Jersey and 20 years of service at Bird Coal Co., Tire Hill. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Jack Rupert. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
