ANGUS - Linda L., 58, of Patton, died May 6, 2006, at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown. Born Nov. 21, 1947, in Spangler, daughter of Clair and Elizabeth A. Endler. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by husband, Warren, whom she married April 1, 1967; children, Helen Lepsch, and husband, William, Irwin, Pa., and Charles Angus, and wife, Jessica, Rillton, Pa.; grandchildren, Charles and Rebecca Angus; brothers, Ted and David Endler; and one niece and one nephew. A graduate of Cambria Heights High School. Employed by Patton VFW #779. Member of Patton VFW and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, by Benedictine Fathers. Committal at Fairview Cemetery. Memorials are requested to Patton VFW #779.

BOBBY - Peter Jr.

BOBBY - Peter Jr., 88, Northern Cambria, died May 6, 2006, at home. Born Feb. 16, 1918, in Thomas Mills, Pa., the son of Peter Sr. and Anna Bobby. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Joanne Bobby; brother, John Bobby; and sisters, Ann Bobby and Mary Sluja. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Mary (Skuban) Bobby; children, Michael P. Bobby, married to the former Connie Bobak, Northern Cambria; Mary Ann, wife of Robert Manioc, Northern Cambria; Patricia Bobby, Northern Cambria, fiancee of Gerald McGough; and Janice, wife of Gregory J. Smith, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Christine, Melinda, Michael J., Bobby and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Logan and Isabelle. Also survived by sister-in-law, Julia Bobby, Northern Cambria. Member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church. World War II Army veteran and member of VFW Post 343, Barnesboro. Retired coal miner and member of UMWA District 2. Member of Greek Catholic Union. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria, where Parastas will be held at 8 p.m. Panachida will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by Funeral Divine Liturgy at St. John Byzantine Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m., Father Oliver Hebert, TOR, celebrant. Committal, St. John Byzantine Cemetery. Military honors by local veterans organizations.
