Born March 23, 1957, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Joseph S. and Dorothy M. (Lebosky) Barbus, East Conemaugh. Preceeded in death by father; husband, Ed C. McMinn; and a sister, Melanie Barbus. In addition to her mother, she is survived by son, Joey S. Barbus, East Conemaugh; sisters, Paulette B., wife of Tom Szwast, East Taylor Township; Barbara J.; Susan, wife of Robin Dietz; and Joyce L., fianc? of Fred Farabaugh, all of East Conemaugh, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces. Elayne was a member of First Lutheran Church, Johnstown. She was a 1975 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. Elayne's son, Joey, was her pride and joy. CAVALLO - Anthony "Tony" Michael, 90, Johnstown, died Sept. 24, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 21, 1916, in Johnstown, son of Nicholas and Marie (Sylvester) Cavallo. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Wanda B. (Zemet) Cavallo; sister, Victoria Glenn; brothers-in-law, Donald Oakley, Arthur Glenn and Edwin Zemet; best friend, Thomas Sunseri and Charles Zemet. Survived by daughter, Toni Linda; grandchildren, Jay Michael Humphrey, married to Sherry; Jennifer (Humphrey), married to Kurt Nilson; and Timothy Nicholas Humphrey; great-granddaughter, Sarah Hope Humphrey; sisters, Helen Sunseri and Elvira (Nikki) Oakley; sisters-in-law, Martha, Jean and Marlene Zemet; special nieces and nephews, Debbie, Beth, Lynn, Charlene, Joy, Jacque, Jewell, Douglas, Donald, Jim and John and their families; also cousins and friends; special friend, Josephine Workosky and her family. He graduated from Stanton Military Academy, and was a decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II. After the war, he returned to Johnstown to work with his father and uncle at N. Cavallo and Bro. He then joined his brother-in-law at Tony Sunseri Wholesale and grocery. A life member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was an officer and longtime member of the ISDA. DELL - Lester A., 59, Johnstown, died Sept. 25, 2006, at home. Born Jan. 24, 1947, in Johnstown, son of the late Lester H. and Geraldine Dell. Survived by wife, Helen M. (Vitalie), and sister, Sharon, wife of Robert Miller, Johnstown. Mr. Dell was a former police officer for Windber, Franklin and Conemaugh Township, Cambria County. He was formerly employed by the Conemaugh and Black Lick Railroad in the maintenance department. At Mr. Dell's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. GRUCA - Sophie Ann, 77, Johnstown, passed away Sept. 23, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 26, 1928, in Johnstown, to the late John and Agnes (Musial) Stavas. Also preceded in death by her son, John Paul Gruca; infant daughter, Patricia Jane Gruca; brothers, Joseph Stawash; Ted; Edward; Frank; Stanley; and his wife, Annie Stavas; sisters, Mary Stavas and Lee Callen; along with infant brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memories are sisters, Vern Kristoff and Carol Rodkey, and sisters-in-law, Maureen and Martha Stavas. Also survived by loving daughter, Joyce, wife of John Antonio, of Virginia; grandchildren, Bruno, Gabriel, Roman, Anastasia and Amanda; and great-grandchildren, Cody, Bruno Jr., Rocco and Alessandra. Sophie was a lifelong member of St. Casimir Church and was a member of the church choir and the former KMP Club. She retired from Hiram G. Andrews Center in the housekeeping department. Despite her failing eyesight, she was an avid reader. She walked almost everywhere and was especially fond of her cat, "Gracie." Member of SS.
